Gosh, i almost fainted in this lab, seriously yes!!

First of all, let me introduce...
below is Aeris, tht thing on her nose is a nose clip, because she loves her face and nose so much, she decided to pot a tissue layer before she clip the darn nose clip.. haha!!

This is It Seang, on Spirometer!! this is the machine which almost got me fainted cuz of CO2 poisoning!!!haha! ( the nose clip is a must for all the sections. :-) )
there's one part of the experiment is to re-breath the CO2 u've breathed into the machine... Gosh, i was dizzy, becoming dark, almost faint, then i request to stop my experiment... :-)



Yeah, exactly!! see the silver tumbler coming up? tht is the space to trap either oxygen or CO2.. this is It Seang again.. and there's a carbon indicator to draw the graph while u inhale and exhale.
This is again, the spirometer.

Aeris on the Air collector... Yeah, u need to breath for 3 minutes through that thing, and collect the air, then compare it with the volume u collected while running and breathing through that thing for another 3 minutes...
can u imagine jogging with that thing in ur mouth???

and the mouthpiece... full of antiseptic smell which induces vomit!! haha!

see the bag?? the air is collected, then connected to the machine to count the litres of air collected!! wow, on resting, you breath around 50L to 70L of air for a normal lady!! :-)

Aeris my love!! haha! she was running too!!! erm, basically all of us had fun in the lab....haha!



Shereen Ang!! Gosh... the slowest Group among all! hahahaha!!! can u imagine that her saliva spilled out like a waterfall after breathing for not even 3 minutes??? hahaha!!

nah, saliva tends to accumulate, the feeling is exactly like scuba diving.. :-)


She was running... again.. :-) I love the technique i took this pic... wahahaha!!!


Lastly, ME!!!! I was on that thing after using the Spirometer which made me faint! haha!! see? it wasn't as suffocating as the Spirometer previously.. :-) but... good experience.....

one thing is even harder... to write the report.... sob sob....






So, that was my day in Uni.
